Little Enigma

This project is inspired by the film Tropical Fish directed by Yuxun Chen. The film tells the story of Liu Zhiqiang, a teenager who likes to dream and fantasise about becoming a mermaid king and who does not like to study, who is mistakenly involved in a kidnapping case a month before the Joint Entrance Examination. Later, due to various reasons, he is taken to his hometown by the kidnappers and spends the last ten days before the exam. The film reminded me of my own experiences growing up as a child. I lived in my own daydreams every day, just like Liu Zhiqiang, the main character in the film. Therefore, I used fashion photography to bring my childhood daydreams into reality.
