Lala Land

For this project I used the AI drawing software Midjourney to generate four backgrounds for my shoot. Through the inspiration brought to me by the game Animal Crossing, I imagined a story. Firstly, I imagined an island. Just like Animal Crossing, a human girl from the real world enters this island to survive. The girl's emotions were a bit sad. So, she enters a fake world to relax herself. But this world also needs to be built slowly and friends need to be made. At first, the girl may find it very difficult to build a deserted island. Just like contemporary young people relieve stress, at some point, human emotions are not so easy to regulate. But the girl gradually builds the island into a perfect place through the help of friends she makes in the game and her own efforts. After that, whenever the girl feels stressed, she can go to this beautiful island to release her stress. Although this island is fake, it is real again. This island can provide good emotional value to the girl. Therefore, this island is the girl's spiritual home between the real world and the fake world.
