Workshop
During the summer holidays, I attended a two-day workshop on Photoshop and Captureone in China.

Because I think I need to learn and practice more in the post-processing area of image processing. On the first day of the workshop, I took some fashion images. These images were inspired by the floral works of Cho Giseok, a famous Korean fashion photographer. I asked the models to show the feeling of a flower about to bloom.
On the second day of the workshop, I learnt and practised post-production image processing. First, the workshop teacher showed us how to export images from Captureone. Because before this, I had been shooting directly with a digital camera. But in the field of fashion photography, Captureone is widely used by many photographers. So, I think if you want to be a professional fashion photographer, Captureone is the software you must know and be able to operate proficiently. After learning to use Captureone, I started learning how to process images in Photoshop. Firstly, the most important aspect of portrait retouching is dealing with skin blemishes. I learnt how to remove blemishes from the model's face, as well as removing broken hair. Then, I learnt the skill that I gained the most from this workshop - adjusting the light and dark areas of the model's face using the brush tool. I think using the brush tool to adjust the light and dark areas of a model's skin preserves the texture of the skin and flattens it out. Finally, I learned how to tone colours. However, I think colour grading is an aid to photography and everyone has different preferences for colour grading. I think that you need to rely on aesthetic accumulation and diligent practice in colour mixing to find your own colour mixing style.
